Ziplok


Erik Roger Diener (born September 6, 1978), known professionally as Ziplok, is an American producer, rapper and entrepreneur.

Early life


Erik Roger Diener. was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on September 6, 1978, to Doreen Cunningham and Roger Diener, who are from Vermont and Connecticut. Diener’s family moved to Hudson, New Hampshire.  From kindergarten to 8th grade, Diener attended Tabernacle Christian School in Hudson,New Hampshire  and attended Alvirne High School. Diener got a GED in 1999.

Career


In 1998 under the alias Mr. E, Diener purchased his first microphone and Tascam 4 Track recorder and began recording instrumentals and local artists from the Boston area.

In 2000 moves to Clearwater, Florida and changes name to Ziplok furthermore naming the studio Ziplok Studio. In 2001 Ziplok went to Installer Institute in Holly Hill, Florida to learn advance speaker placement and car audio and security. In 2002 releases the mixtape Big Mouths Yapping Volume 1 eventually to return to New Hampshire in 2004 to release his first solo release Zip It Up EP. In 2007 Ziplok releases his first full length album Internet Fire his first LP. In 2008 Diener was co-signed to hip hop super producer Bang Out and recorded the two hit songs Ur A Hata and Whiteboys which both songs are on the album titled Ziplok released in 2012. Also that same year Diener released the single NASA featuring Rampage The Last Boy Scout.

In 2011 Diener moves back to Saint Petersburg, Florida where he recorded his first music video Excuse Me with production from Bang Out the same year moving again to Atlanta, Georgia. 

From 2011-2016 Diener stayed in Atlanta, Georgia and recorded and released the song Turn Up feat. Young Dirty Bastard and also performing at many clubs in the Atlanta area.  

In 2019 Ziplok created the independent record label Marijuana Records signing himself as a producer and rapper with all future releases under that name for publishing.

From 2016-2020 Diener worked with many artists and shortly lived in Houston, Texas, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Columbia South Carolina, Saint Petersburg Florida and by 2020 returned back to Clearwater Beach, Florida to celebrate 20 years where it all officially started.
